Product

1. How do i place an order online?

We have made the ordering process as easy as possible for you. You can use our label finder or side filters to search for the product you require.

When you want to place an order, on the product page, scroll down to the pricing table. Select the pack size you want to buy at the top of the table, then you will see the price tier table per material, this shows you the quantiity price breaks, as you can see the more you buy the cheaper the box price becomes. Simply add the quantity you want to purchase on the right of the table and click add to cart.

You can then proceed to checkout.

2. Can I test before i buy?

We are so confident in our products we offer FREE samples.

You can order your free samples by going to the product page you want to test, you will then see a tab called 'Free Samples' click on the 'request samples' button and fill out the form. You will receive your free samples in 1 - 3 working days

3. There is no Free Samples option on the product

This usually means that the product you are looking at is made to order and therefore we don't carry samples of the product, however if you get in contact we can send you the material samples for you to test and also 100% scale print out of the label sheet so you can compare the size.

4. I can't find the label size i need?

You can use our label finder on the homepage to filter label sizes or on category pages you can use our filters on the left hand size bar to filter sizes using the height and width sliders.

If you still can't find a label size you require, we are label manufactuers and can make any shape or size you require. Click the button below to request a custom quote.

5. Can you make custom size or shaped labels for me?

6. I have an avery software code can you supply me with this size label?

Yes, We have a range of labels compatible to avery* software codes. You can filter these using our label finder on the homepage. Or if you in a category page you can use our filters on the left sidebar to filter by avery* codes.

Price

1. Do you offer templates for your label designs?

We offer a range of templates for every design we sell, the templates are available in word, illustrator, photoshop and pdf format. These can be downloaded, for free, from the templates tab on product pages.

2. What formats do you offer your templates in?

Word, Illustrator, Photoshop, PDF

3. I can't see any label templates on the product page, can i still have a template?

Of course, this usually means that you have ordered a made to order item, however get in contact and we will make a label template for you.

4. I'm using your label template, but my print isn't coming out correct

There are usually a number of factors why our template is not aligned when printing:

  1. Make sure you are printing 100% scale
  2. All printers are different, even the same models will print slightly differently. This means your printing might print with a slightly larger margin than another printer, so you may have to move the artwork left or right slightly to align for your printers settings. If you have difficulty with this, get in contact we can help.

5. I have downloaded your Microsoft Word template but it's just showing a blank page

If you are not seeing any gridlines you may need to enable this in word. To do so first please make sure the document is editable and not in read only mode. Then go table tools on the top navigation > layout > View Gridlines. You should now see the template design.

6. Do you offer an artwork design service?

We have a number of talented designers in our staff, so if you have any trouble producing your artwork get in touch for a bespoke quote.

7. Can you print for me?

Payment

1. What payment methods do you accept?

We support payments from the following options:

  • PayPal
  • Stripe (Credit/Debit Card)
  • BACs
  • Pay over the phone
  • Pay on account (you must apply for a credit account)

2. Are your only payments secure?

You can rest assured that your payment is 100% secure. We only use trusted payment gateway providers with the best security.

3. Can i apply for an account with you?

We have a number of customers who can pay on account. If you would like to apply for a credit account or see our account terms and conditions please click the apply button below.

Simply download the form from section 1 of the page, fill it in, then import it on section 2 of the page.

If you are approved you will be allocated a credit limit and when you place an order online you will have an option to 'pay on account'

4. I have an account with you, how do i place an order on account?

  1. Place an order online - on checkout simply choose 'pay on account' as your payment method
  2. Place via email - You can send us a purchase order to sales@labels-direct.co.uk and we will process the order for you
  3. Place via telephone - You can call us and we can take your order over the phone

5. Can i pay over the phone?

Sure, just give us a call and we can take your order and payment over the phone for you

6. Can i pay via BACs

Yes, on checkout choose Bank Transfer as your payment option, you will be given our bank details.

Once paid please make sure to email us to let us know it has been paid so we can get the order sent down for despatch. If you do not make us aware, there may be a delay in shipping the order.

1. Can I test before i buy?

3. I need a specific material, do you stock it?

As a label manufactuerer we can get hold of a wide variety of different materials and adhesives, get in contact with us to see if we can help.

4. Whats the difference between white permanent and white removeable?

White Permanent - Our standard high tac adhesive, you would expect to apply this and not want to remove it afterwards

White Removable - Low tac adhesive, used in cases where you want to remove the label without leaving any residue. e.g stick on glass then remove later without leaving residue.

5. Whats a synthetic material?

A synthetic material is a more heavy duty material made from plastic. The product is useful for when applying outdoors, on bottles or wet enviroments as it meets the requirements of BS5609 PART 2: Marine use.
